I would like to share an article by Alan Hall from Forbes where Alan looks at how to find and hire great employees. He has identified seven categories that he considers when finding and hiring the best new employees. They are;
- Competent
- Capable
- Compatible
- Commitment
- Character
- Culture
- Compensation
I believe these seven categories are a great start in helping to find and hire the right candidate, I would also add Company, Connection, and Candidate. Does your hiring process cover some or all of these categories? I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
